The announcement of Hoa Lac Hi-tech park master plan
Pursuant to Decision No. 621/QD - TTg approving adjustments master plan Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park of the Prime Minister on May 23rd , 2008, the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Management Board held a conference declaration planning at the Hilton Hotel - Hanoi on August 28, 2008.

At the ceremony Mr. Nguyen Van Lang, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Chairman of Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Management board introduced the master plan is adjusted and informed the development situation of the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park.
According to the new master plans approved by the Government at the end of May, Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park with total area of 1,586 hectares, with 4 zones, function is carried out research (which is the "heart" of both areas), Industrial Zone high-tech, software Parks and Training.
"Compared with the old plan, Hoa Lac set new tasks most important research is carried out, is focusing research institutes applications and training, while this factor ago was very light and not specific . This is the main difference. "
There are currently has 18 institutes and research centers registered headquarters building here, and estimates there will be at least 30 units registered.
An adjustment compared with more planning was, Hoa Lac will have a separate area personnel training, things that did not previously mentioned or not to clear. Up to now has two universities based, including FPT University and the University of science and technology Ha Noi (by the Institute for Science Viet Nam is the investor), with the goal of becoming a International university class
New master pland also has software park - is where research, production and processing software - as well as the apartment and villas to people who live and work here, it never has in the park others.
In addition to modern infrastructure, one-door policy would, investors will also be in the highest incentives as stipulated by the current law, such as 4-year tax exemption and reduction of 50% in the next 9 years, to be submitted only 10% in the first 15 taxable years.
Up to now, here are 28 investment projects with total registered capital of 587 million USD, initially with some factories in operation, produce products such as electronic chip, fiber optic, battery energy sun, LED lights, equipment, precision engineering, ...
At the ceremony Mr. Nguyen Van Lang, Chairman gave licenses investment to two companies: FC Joint Stock Company and MISA Soft Joint Stock Company.
Signed agreement between the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Management Board with the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Information and Communications, Viet Nam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT).
Signed Agreement on training and testing IT skills recording equivalent standard of Japan between VITEC Center and the Ha Noi University of Techninology.
Gave certificates and rewards for some candidates to reach the results of the IT testing.
