PM applauds Japan’s decision to restore ODA

Ambassador gladly informed that Japan decided to resume its ODA for Việt Nam soon. He said that many Japanese parliamentarians want to strengthen ODA cooperation with Việt Nam in the interests of the two countries.

The guest hoped that, the two sides will closely work together in managing ODA capital.

He also briefed his working sessions with some host ministries and sectors on many cooperation fields.

Welcoming the Japanese Goodwill Ambassador, PM Dũng lauded him for his efforts to lobby for the resumption of ODA granting.

Emphasizing the blossoming friendship and cooperation between the two countries over the past time, the Government chief stated that Japan’s early resumption of its ODA for Việt Nam is a practical step to foster the bilateral comprehensive relationship.

He compared the resumption of ODA to an evidence of the solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Việt Nam and Japan, adding that this is an active step to bring their traditional friendship and partnership to a new height, for the sake of the two nations as well as peace and prosperity in the region
