Meeting and exchange with Investors

As usual, the annual meeting with the aim at recommending domestic and foreign investors who have invested or intend to invest in Hoa Lac Hi - Tech Park (HHTP) was organized on 15 April, 2010 under the topic “Meet and Exchange with investors”. This was the occasion for HHTP Management Board and investors to meet, exchange and summarize the achieved cooperation results and find out solutions to solve the remaining problems together. The meeting took place successfully and showed the HHTP Management Board’s great attention to investors.

The meeting was attended by over 100 invested guests including investors who have been granted the investment certificates, potential investors, representatives of related departments under the Ministry of Science and Technology, representatives of the Thach That and Quoc Oai Districts’ People Committees, representatives of communes and Land Clearance Department belonging to Thach That District, concerned individuals/ organizations and means of press media.

It was opened by Mr. Nguyen Van Lang - Vice President of Ministry of Science and Technology cum President of HHTP. Right after welcoming the participants, he had a speech on the situation of construction, development, and investor attraction in HHTP. With the compact and compendious communication, Doctor Lang’s speech attracted great attention from all participants and gave them a clear overview of HHTP status as well as its’ strength, development potentialities and incentive policies from which further bolstered the investors’ confidence in HHTP.

Following Mr. Lang’s speech, the representative of China’s Commercial Counselor had some words of his feelings and thinking about HHTP and expressed his great confidence in huge development of HHTP in the future.

Next, It was the discussion and idea exchange between Viwaseen; Hanoi Electricity; Hanoi VNPT; Vietnam Customs and HHTP Management Board as well as investors. Three suppliers - Viwaseen; Hanoi VNPT; and Customs stated their outstanding strengths and committed to continually provide their best and fastest services to HHTP in general and to investors in particular.

Specifically, Hanoi VNPT has extended two advanced fiber cables to HHTP. They have initially supplied a comprehensive information system to meet all HHTP Management Board and investors’ requirements. In addition, they also established a transaction room here to facilitate customers and in the near future, an information centre will be built on the area of 3.5 ha to develop and serve HHTP long and stably.

For Viwaseen, their current water supply plant with the capacity of 5000 m3/ day can meet 30.000 people’s usage demand. They committed to satisfy the maximum demand of HHTP Management Board and investors. The Custom Unit has also had an establishment in HHTP. With the one - door service, they ensure to solve all procedures quickly and efficiently.

Right after, it took place the commitment signing ceremony between HHTP Management Board and investors including Thuy Duong Investment Corporation; Gia Phat Investment Corporation; Viettel Military Telecommunications Group; Viet Nhat Gas Co, Ltd; SINOPHARM; Vinaline Logistics Co., FPT Development Co., Ltd; and HTI Corporation.

Finally, the Management Board granted the land assignment certificates and investment certificates for investors including Thanh Ha Corporation; CEO Corporation; Directorate for Standards, Metrology, and Quality; National Institute of Information and Communications strategy.

The meeting was closed in a state and excited atmosphere with a lot of commitments achieved between the Management board and the related partners. The success of meeting left good echo in all participants.
