Enhancing the capacity of management of Intellectual Property
To help National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam (NOIP) build Center for Intellectual Property Development (CIPD) at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park (HHTP), expert delegation of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) together with the delegation of NOIP visited and worked with the Management Board of HHTP. Vice minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology concurrently Chairman of Management Board of HHTP Dr. Nguyen Van Lang has worked with the delegation on August 26, 2010.
During the working time, Dr. Nguyen introduced the general status of the concerns and research organizations that had been, have been, and will be given the investment license in HHTP to the delegation. He appreciated the desire to cooperate and help NOIP and Management Board of HHTP establish and operate CIPD. He also heightened the development of intellectual property in here since hi-tech research centers and/or organizations and Universities are gathered together in HHTP.
The staff members of Management Board accompanied by the delegation to visit VIKOMED, a joint-venture corporation between Vietnam and Korea for research and fabrication of medicinal instruments, and Hi-Tech Business Incubator of Management Board of HHTP so that the delegation can have a basic reality to perfect the cooperation agreement content for establishing and operating CIPD between WIPO and NOIP.
Discussing with the delegation, Vice minister asked the partner side for help to train to produce experts on intellectual property field for NOIP and Management Board of HHTP.
