“Seminar on Investment opportunities in HHTP” in Taiwan

With the supports of Investment Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affair, Taiwan; Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hanoi, Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park (HHTP) has held “The seminar on investment opportunities in Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park, Vietnam” on April 22nd 2011 in Taipei.

Dr. Nguyen Van Lang, Chairman of HHTP Management Board and Mr. Phillip J.P Fan, Senior First Secretary of Investment Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan has made welcome and opening speeches.

The seminar attracted more than 20 hi-tech Taiwanese enterprises and associations, including Taiwan Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers Association (TEEMA), Taiwan Trade Association, Actton Company…

At the seminar, Mr Pham Dai Duong, Vice Chairman of Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park Management Board introduced investment environments, preferential policies for tenants, infrastructure system, etc of HHTP.

Taiwanese enterprises made questions about human resources, project investment procedures, taxation policy, land lease fees, infrastructure fees, etc.. and were appropriately answered by HHTP’s representatives.

Besides, representatives of Investment Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan announced companies attending the Seminar of investment situation of Taiwan businesses in Vietnam, open policies in foreign direct investment attractiveness, especially, investment in hi-tech fields in Vietnam.

Generally, this seminar was successfully held and it helped introduce to Taiwan businesses, associations about potential investment opportunities into hi-tech fields in Vietnam in general and into Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park in particular. HHTP Management Board, tentatively, continues to coordinate with Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Vietnam to organize other investment activities at the end of this year in Taiwan.
