Accelerates Japan’s important projects in Hoa lac Hi-tech Park

From November 23 to 27, 2010, the delegation of Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park (HHTP) headed by Vice Minister of Science and Technology cum Chairman of HHTP Management Board, Dr. Nguyen Van Lang, had a working visit in Japan to have discussions concerning Japan’s important projects in HHTP, including the project of R&D center for automobiles manufacturing technology and automobile engines by Nissan Techno Co., Ltd and Space Center in Hoalac by Space Technology Institute...

At the Headquarter of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd in Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Mr. Mitsuhiko Yamashita Executive Vice President warmly welcome Dr Nguyen Van Lang and other members of the delegation. He firmly put determination on project implementation in HHTP and would like to receive further support from the Management Board to the project and Nissan Techno Co., Ltd, a member of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.

The delegation also paid time to visit the leading R&D sites of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd like Nissan Advanced Technical Center, Nissan Technical Center and visited headquarter of Nissan Techno Co., Ltd in Atsugi City. These are the leading R&D sites of Nissan Motor all over the world, where automobiles industry’s advanced research activities are carried out. The delegation also did test drive of Leaf, the first EV car in the world that is expected to be launched by the end of this year in Japan and North America.

At the meeting at the headquarter of Nissan Techno Co., Ltd, Vice Minister Nguyen Van Lang suggested that the company should compile project’s documents as soon as possible and keep close contact with the MB to implement the project as tentative schedule. Mr. Keiichi Murata, President - CEO of Nissan Techno Co., Ltd committed that the company should study and prepare the dossier, and proposed some issues concerning infrastructure and administration procedures that needs support from the MB. The two parties jointly agreed that close communication should be kept toward the project implementation.
