HHTP to evaluate Korean company’s technologies

On Dec 25th 2013, HHTP Management Board held the Scientific Council meeting to assess products and technologies of the project owned by CNPLUS Co. Ltd, so called “CNPLUS VINA Co. Ltd” at the Ministry of Science and Technology.

In order to provide equipment for electronic device manufacturers such as Samsung, LG, etc, CNPLUS Co. Ltd from Korea is planned to invest a factory in HHTP. The estimated investment capital is about 8 mil USD in the 1st phase and would increase to 15 mil USD in the 2nd and 3rd phases. The project is to produce, do research and development all kinds of high precision connectors for high-resolution display, network devices and next generation solar inverter.

At the meeting, the Scientific Council highly appreciated CNPLUS’s project and agreed that the project is in accordance with the State policies and guidelines as well as technology criteria for investing in HHTP. When the project is in operation, it is expected to boost the country’s production industries of electronic components by automation and high precision control technology and to train human resources in the field of designing advanced electronic components.
