VN-RoK Science and Technology Institute set up
The Government has issued a decree on the establishment of the Viet Nam-Republic of Korea (RoK) Science and Technology Institute.

The Institute, under the Ministry of Science and Technology, located in the capital of Ha Noi, will launch tasks on developing source technology, upgrading technology for key and strategic industries, promoting national, critical and integrated products to replace imported technologies.
Foreign and Overseas Vietnamese professionals and specialists will be facilitated to join science and technology activities in the Institute.
The State will provide corresponding capital for setting up the Institute as committed in the Agreement between the Governments of Viet Nam and the RoK as well as mobilize legal capital source for purchasing infrastructure for the Institute.
