Cooperation for science and technology potentiality development
In recent years, with the efforts of the Management Board (MB), the timely direction of the Central Party and the Government along with the support of ministries and localities, most of HHTP difficulties in land clearance, infrastructure construction and preferential policies have been basically solved. HHTP is going to step into a new phase, focusing on improving and developing science and technology potentiality and aiming at becoming a national research, application and development center as approved by the Prime Minister. In this spirit, the Management Board organized a working session, chaired by the Deputy Minister Tran Viet Thanh, with the related departments, agencies and institutes under the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) on June 10th, 2015.
At the meeting, representatives of related departments under the MB made proposals to the MOST’s agencies for the development science and technology potentiality in HHTP, specifically: building legal documents, strengthening PR, investment and promotion activities; developing science and technology cooperation, hi–tech business incubation… Leaders of the National Agency for Science and Technology Information (NASATI), State Agency for Technology Innovation, the Agency for S&T Enterprises and Market Development and some other delegates expressed their consent to the MB’s proposals and gave out some directions of cooperation as well which can be deployed between the parties in the time to come, for example, organizing such events as Technology Market (Techmart), Technology Festival for start-ups (Techfest) and so on in HHTP.
Making a closing speech at the meeting, the Deputy Minister Tran Viet Thanh praised the MB’s initiative in organizing the meeting and requested the related departments and agencies of MOST to enhance their support for the MB for the sake of science and technology potentiality development..
