VN eyes high-tech cooperation with Japan
Viet Nam gives high priority to encouraging Japan’s investment in high-tech sectors, said Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan.
Quan made the statement at a seminar held on Wednesday to mark 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
The bilateral cooperation in science and technology has made progress and many joint projects have been effectively realized, he added, citing that JICA assisted Viet Nam to develop planning scheme and infrastructure for Hoa Lac High-tech Park.
At present, Japan has nearly 2,000 valid projects in Viet Nam with total registered capital of over US$31 billion but Quan expected more Japan’s investment into high-tech field./.
