SEA-EU-NET experts worked with HHTP

SEA-EU-NET (www.sea-eu.net) is the project aiming to enhance the science and technology collaboration and innovation between ASEAN and EU. One of the important activities of the project is to assess current innovation situation in ASEAN nations and define opportunities for collaboration. In order to carry out the mission, on May 30th, 2013, the Project members including Dr Florian Gruber, senior expert of Centre For Social Innovation (ZSI – Autria) and Mrs Wanichar Sukprasertchai, expert of Thailand National Science and Technology Development Agency, visited HHTP.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Pham Dai Duong, Chairman of the Park briefly presented to the experts the general situation, the development orientation of HHTP, special incentives of Vietnamese Government to investors, some big projects operating in the Park, etc.
After that, Dr Florian Gruber showed Mr. Chairman details about SEA-EU-NET project, which has been carrying out from January 2008, with participation of 16 top important organizations from ASEAN and EU.

At the end of the meeting, Chairman Pham Dai Duong expressed his thankfulness and highly appreciated the working of SEA-EU-NET experts. He also suggested both sides to keep close contact in the coming time with a view to finding out the ideas and opportunities for science and technology development collaboration and innovation.
