VN ranks 7th in Internet development
Viet Nam is widely known as one of the countries with the highest annual growth of Internet users, according to the website www.internetworldstats.com,
In ASEAN, the country ranks third after Indonesia and the Philippines. Last year, Viet Nam marked the 15th anniversary of linking to global Internet with numerous achievements, contributing to its socio-economic development process.
Official data shows that by the end of 2012, Viet Nam had around 31.3 million internet users, 15 times up from the same period of 2000, representing 35.26% of the country’s population./.
