HHTP to assess two educational projects
On October 9th, 2013, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Viet Thanh chaired the meeting to assess two educational investment projects in HHTP. Attending the meeting were leaders of Technology Evaluation and Assessment Department, High Technology Department, School of Science and Technology Management under Ministry of Science and Technology; representatives of Ministry of Industry and Trade, Hanoi Education and Training Department, Hanoi Planning and Investment Department, and Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park Management Board.
At the meeting, representative of International Education Company presented the project, namely “Construction of facilities for TH True Education primary, secondary and high school” with a total investment capital of about 270 billion VND in HHTP. This project is to build a top quality school in Vietnam. The quality of teaching and certificates are recognized worldwide.
In terms of the project so called “Hanoi Energy Management Human Resources Training Center", with a total investment capital of 198 billion VND, the Hanoi Department of Trade and Industry is expected to build this Center to provide qualified manpower in energy management, as well as to transfer advance technology in energy saving, to implement effectively energy saving technical solutions for businesses, state agencies and energy- using units of Hanoi and the northern provinces.
After listening to the comments and evaluation ideas raised by members of the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Viet Thanh concluded that these two projects are warmly welcomed to invest in HHTP. However, the two investors need to explain and clarify the roadmap for the enrollment, tuitions, teaching curriculum, etc to increase the feasibility and success of the projects.
