PM greets Japan-Viet Nam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance special advisor

PM Dung warmly welcomed the visit of Mr. Tsutomu Takebe, a close friend of Vietnamese people and lauded his contributions to the fine bilateral ties, particularly the Viet Nam-Japan University project – a symbol of cooperation between the two countries.
The PM was pleased with the developments in Viet Nam-Japan Extensive Strategic Partnership in all fields, affirming that VietNam attaches special importance to the nations’ ties and believes the relations will grow further, bringing about the benefit for both countries and contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
Regarding the Viet Nam-Japan University project, the Government chief confirmed Viet Nam is willing to cooperate with Japan to put the university into operation early.
For his part, Mr. Tsutomu Takebe said that with his 20-year experience in attending exchange activities in bilateral ties, he will spare no effort to further strengthen the two countries’ strategic partnership.
He informed the host leader that the Viet Nam-Japan University will be inaugurated on September 9, 2016.
The guest leader also revealed that the Japanese side is preparing for the organisation of the Japan-Viet Nam Cultural Festival in November, plans to bring a delegation of over 1,000 Japanese enterprises to Viet Nam, and continue the idea on cherry blossom planting in Viet Nam./.
