HHTP Management Board to review activities in 2015 and make plans for 2016

On 23rd December 2015, the HHTP Management Board held the conference to review its activities in 2015 and make plans for 2016. Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Quan, the Minister of Science and Technology; Mr.Hoang Van Phong, Envoy of the Prime Minister on Science and Technology, Chairman of the Steering Committee for R&D Zone development, Mr.Pham Dai Duong, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Chairman of HHTP Management Board.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Trung Quynh, Vice Chairman reported that with the targets set at the beginning of the year 2015, the HHTP Management Board has completed a huge amount of works, notably implementing land clearance to ensure progress for important projects; groundbreaking HHTP infrastructure development project supported by ODA loan from the Japanese Government; drafting the Prime Minister’s decision of particular mechanisms and policies for HHTP related to land management, housing, construction, investment; organizing scientific and technological activities to attract the participation of universities, research institutes and businesses ...

Vice Chairman Nguyen Trung Quynh presented the summary report

To fulfill the working plan in 2016 in the spirit of "Unity - professionalism - innovation - creativity", leaders of HHTP Management Board set the key tasks in 2016, and proposed a number of issues to the Government, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the relevant authorities, particularly the allocation of budget, competence enhancement for HHTP Management Board.

Speaking at the conference, Minister Nguyen Quan highly appreciated efforts and results achieved by the HHTP Management Board. He affirmed that in the period 2014-2015, the workload for HHTP was huge compared to the previous years and directed subordinate units of the Ministry to address the Management Board’s proposals.
