HSBC raise forecasted GDP growth for VN
The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) lifted Viet Nam’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate from 6.3% to 6.6% in 2015.

The bank's report on the country's macro-economy and future market prospects, released by the HSBC on October 2 judged that Viet Nam’s economy has been promoted by its strong exports over recent years.
Domestic demands have been recovered, fuelled by construction. The credit growth is expected to reach higher growth than the set plan for 2015.
The nation’s GDP growth in the third quarter of the year will attain higher growth than the forecasted figure, which leads to the GDP growth expected for the whole year to achieve 6.6%. In 2016, the figure will obtain 6.7%.
