FPT Software village comes into operation

FPT Software Company Limited (FPT Software) launched its initial phase of the first software village (F-Ville) at the Hanoi-based Hoa Lac High-Tech Park on November 13th. With the model of working campus, the F-Ville has followed the common development trend of large software enterprises worldwide which own the modern and large scale campuses such as Infosys and Wipro (India), Neusoft (China), TCS (Japan).

The launching ceremony was attended by Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan, leaders of Ministry of Information and Communication, Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park Management Board and some Japanese IT enterprises…

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan highly appreciated FPT’s commitments in bringing the most modern and best working conditions for its staff and employees. He also mentioned that the Ministry of Science and Technology will create the best favorable conditions to support the development of the information technology businesses in Vietnam.

The project “F-Ville” is the first to deploy within 07 projects which were granted investment certificates at Software Park, Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park. The project including 3 phases has total area of 6.4 ha. In the first phase, FPT Software has built an office block with total floor area of 16.000m2, providing the working space for about 1700-1900 employees. Besides, there are other supporting services like cafeteria, swimming pool, outdoor sports, gym, accommodation rooms for professionals, etc. The 2nd and 3rd Phase of F - Ville is expected to launch and come into operation from now until 2016.
