1.Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dzung visited Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park (HHTP)

on Feb 13th, 2012. Office of the Government issued the Notice No.68/TB-VPCP to announce the conclusion of the Prime Minister at the meeting in which a lot of directions in planning, land clearance, and investment attraction, etc were given out.

2. Hanoi People Committee issued resolutions on land clearance at HHTP

3. HHTP Infrastructure Development Project funded by the Japanese Government's ODA (15 billion Yen) was officially launched at HHTP

4. Successfully organizing the investment promotion conference on a large scale in Japan with participation of more than 100 enterprises, agencies and organizations related to the field of high technology in Osaka and nearby Provinces.

5. HHTP attracts the largest number of registered investment capital in one year (about USD 1 billion).

6. HHTP became an official member of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP)

7. A lot of high ranking international delegations visited HHTP, including:
- Deputy Prime Minister of the Lao PDR, Xom – xa – vat Lenh – xa - vat

- President of the Mexican Senate, Jose Gonzalez Morfin

8. Many projects in operation at HHTP achieved good business performance in 2012
- The import-export turnover reached USD 87,614,000
- 22 projects in operation
- 13 projects under construction
- More than 6,000 people are working and learning at HHTP

9. Ministry of Science and Technology’s Communist Party Committee issued a resolution on HHTP Development

10. Prime Minister signed Decision No. 34/2012/QD-TTg on August 8, 2012 stipulated the minimum wage rate increased by 0.8 times for people working at HHTP Management Board (applied January 1st, 2012).
