The MOIT to authorize hi-tech parks
On 22th July, 2015, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) issued Document No.7399/BCT-KH guiding tasks of state management for commercial activities in the hi-tech parks. Accordingly, the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park (HHTP) Management Board is authorized to grant, re-grant, amend, supplement and extend the license for establishing representative offices and branches of foreign trading organizations and traders in HHTP under the provisions of Decision No.68/2014/QD-TTg dated 09/12/2014 by the Prime Minister defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the HHTP Management Board belonging to the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The HHTP Management Board believes that the authorization by the MOIT will help increase consistency and improve efficiency in the implementation of the Board’s state management function, simultaneously create the most favorable conditions for manufacturing and business activities of foreign enterprises in HHTP.
