OUTLOOK FOR ENHANCED COOPERATION BETWEEN THE WORLD BANK AND HOALAC HI-TECH PARK.

Jan, 15th 2014, with the invitation form Mr. Tran Viet Thanh, Vice Minister of MOST, H.E Ms. Victoria Kwakwa, Country Director for Vietnam at the World Bank and experts has visited and exchanged cooperating ideas with the Management board of HHTP. The president of HHTP – Mr. Pham Dai Duong welcomed and thanked for her valued time of visitation...

At the meeting, Ms. Victoria Kwakwa was very impressed with the development model of Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park and expressed optimism about the prospects trust and investment attraction in the park. Both sides have exchanged information and training opportunities for cooperation, including activities focused on the Hi-Tech Enterprises Incubation. “With the aim to support hi-tech enterprises incubation, the Management Board of Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park wish to receive World Bank’ supports” said Mr. Pham Dai Duong.

H.E Ms. Victoria Kwakwa expressed her concerns about contribution to the development of Vietnam's Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park that could bring in the future. And that the World Bank has a number of activities can support to HHTP. In the future, the World Bank will add some discussions to assess the ability to support incubation activities in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Viet Thanh, President of HHTP Mr. Pham Dai Duong thanked the delegation’s visit and exchange opportunities for collaboration with the Management Board of HHTP. Mr. Pham Dai Duong also led the delegation to visit some active projects in the area.
