Currently, the FPT University educates the major of Information Technology for over 2000 students. Besides, the University of Hanoi Science and Technology (invested by ODA fund of Asia Development Bank and French Government) and the University of Japanese-Vietnamese are making necessary investment procedures to construct and operate in the Park.
Hanoi National University, one of the biggest universities in Vietnam, located opposite to the Park, includes 13 colleges with total area of 1113 hectares. It is expected that this university will be able to serve and welcome 60,000 students after completing construction.
Direct labors inside the Park and adjacent area are very plentiful and diversified.
In addition, VITEC, a Training Centre, belongs to the Management Board of Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park, was established in order to:
- Educating and training highly qualified personnel in accordance with the international standards in the field of high technologies;
- Forming standard-skill system for IT and high technologies that are equivalent to regional and global standards. Organizing testing basing on standard skill. VITEC sets target to be “the reference point of quality of IT workforce” of the nation.
- Ensuring to provide high-quality workforce directly for the Park and the economy.
- Giving convenient environment (both infrastructure and polices) to attract Vietnamese-born researchers and foreign researcher come to the Hi-tech Park to work, study, teach and hand over knowledge and technologies.
- Co-operating with HHTP investors to educate and train workforce to directly meet the demands of enterprises.
- Sending high-quality workforce to work abroad.
Last but not least, some vocational training centers will also be built inside the Park.
