HHTP becomes the official member of IASP
On November 25th 2011, the International Association of Science Parks (IASP) informed that HHTP becomes its official member since January 2012. The joining of IASP would enhance the international relation of HHTP with other worldwide science parks.

The IASP is the worldwide network of Science and Technology Parks which connect Science Park professionals from across the globe and provide services that drive growth and effectiveness for its members. Its members enhance the competitiveness of companies and entrepreneurs of their cities and regions, and contribute to global economic development through innovation, entrepreneurship, and the transfer of knowledge and technology.
The IASP is an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. The IASP is a founding member of the World Alliance for Innovation - WAINOVA. Up to end of 2010, IASP has 375 members from 70 countries and there are about 200.000 companies located in IASP members’ Parks.
To faciliate the operation of its members, many of its services are addressed to enhancing the networking abilities of the members, placing them in contact with each other throughout the world and locating the person or organisation that can provide support at any given moment. This customised networking support for members, backed by the IASP staff at all times, happens through e-mail, dedicated sections of its website, documentation, database searches, etc. On the other hand, the international marketing and promotional activities of the members are reinforced by the IASP using e-mailing services and the news and events sections of its website. IASP also assists its members in the organisation of their own conferences and events. The IASP Conference Organisation Manual gathers vast experience on how to organise such events. IASP helps its members in selecting themes, finding speakers and in the marketing of their events. Together with these standard services, IASP also provide other tailor-made services for members, such as intensive training courses, consultancy services, and more.
Becoming the full member of IASP, HHTP will have rights such as: speak and vote at the General Assembly, eligibility to run for the IASP governing bodies, highest discounts on conference registration fees, books purchases, etc.
