Policies take effect since July 2019
Decree No. 38/2019/ND-CP dated May 9, 2019 on statutory pay rate for public officials and public employees and armed forces' personnel has taken effect since July 1, 2019. Accordingly, the basic salary will be increased to VND 1,490,000 per month from the current VND 1,390,000.
Decree 40/2019/ND-CP dated May 13, 2019 amending and supplementing some articles of Decrees on guidelines for the Law on Environment Protection comes into effect since July 1, 2019.
Decree No. 42/2019/ND-CP dated May 16, 2019 of the Government regulates on penalties for administrative violations against regulations on fisheries. Violators of fishing laws will be fined up to VND1 billion.
Decree No. 44/2019/ND-CP dated May 20, 2019 of the Government prescribes the pension, social insurance allowance and monthly allowance. From July 1, 2019, an increase of 7.19% on pensions, social insurance and monthly allowances of June, 2019 for eight subjects has been applied since July 1, 2019.
Decree No. 47/2019/NĐ-CP dated June 5, 2019 of the Government amending and supplementing some articles of Decree No. 10/2016/NĐ-CP dated February 1, 2016 of the Government on Government-attached agencies comes into effect since July 20, 2019.

Decree No. 50/2019/NĐ-CP defines the issuance of practice certificates for practitioners of medical examination and treatment, and operating licenses for establishments. Medical examination and treatment in the army, Decree No. 50/2019 / ND-CP takes effect from July 24, 2019.
