NA passes architecture law
The National Assembly has passed the Law on Architecture with 88.64% of votes. The new law shall come into force from July 1, 2020.
The Law on Architecture comprises five chapters and 41 articles on management of architecture, rights, obligations, and responsibilities of offices, organizations, and individuals in the field.
The new law will be applicable to all offices, organizations, and individuals in architecture; offices, organizations, and individuals in architecture operation in Viet Nam.
The law regulates operational principles on architecture in accordance with development orientations, urban planning, rural planning, in response to socio-economic development demands, national defense, security, environmental protection, appropriate use of natural resources, climate change and natural disaster response, selective reception of world architecture elites, scientific and high-tech applications./.
