JIUV held talks with Hoa Lac Hitech Park, Hanoi
ME/Hanoi - May 14, 2011, in the boardroom of Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park Management Board, H.E. Dr. Nguyen Van Lang, vice minister of Science and Technology Ministry of Vietnam (MoST) has welcome H.E. Sir. Iwao Matsuda, the ex minister of Japan Ministry of Science and Technology and his delegates of the Founding Committee of Trustee of Japan International University in Vietnam (JIUV).

On behalf of MoST, Dr. Nguyen Van Lang has introduced about the Hi-tech Park master plan.
On behalf of JIUV, Mr. Iwao Matsuda appreciated the welcome of MoST and Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park Management Board and explained about the demand for large site for developing the university.
The two sides have discussed about possible land areas for the university to be located and visited the sites.
The project of Japan International University was created by the former minister of Japan Science and Technology Ministry Mr. Iwao Matsuda and his fellow workers who are Mr. Nobue Nakazawa, former director of Nomura Security London and other former executive from leading groups of Japan. The school's ambition is to provide excellent education know how from Japan to Vietnam. The Founding Board counterpart Vietnam side is led by Ambassador, former vice minister of Vietnam Foreign Ministry, H.E. Chu Tuấn Cáp, Vice Chairman of the Founding Board, Mr. Do Duy Du, Education Expert and other leading professors of Vietnam universities.
