Transport ministry urged to build metro line to Hoa Lac High-tech Park

Prime Minister made the request on Thursday during his tour to the National Innovation Center (NIC) located in Hoa Lac High-tech Park.

He also tasked the Ministry of Finance to work with the Ministry of Planning and Investment to explore the possibility of setting up an innovation fund.

Founded in 2019, NIC is mandated to develop an innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in a bid to help transform Viet Nam's growth model based on science and technology.

The center's key tasks include assisting businesses in accessing resources for innovation; developing innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems; educating and developing high-quality workforce, and promoting a innovation network in Viet Nam.

NIC will host the Viet Nam International Innovation Exhibition 2023 (VIIE 2023) from October 28 to November 1, with the participation of major business giants such as SK, Samsung, Google, Meta, Signify, Intel, VISA, Viettel, FPT, THACO, VNPT, Sovico, MoMo among others./.
