Exemption of agricultural land use tax extended to end of 2025
With 94.41% of votes, a resolution to extend the exemption of agricultural land use tax was passed at the ongoing ninth session of the 14th National Assembly on June 10 in Ha Noi.
The resolution lengthens the exemption as stipulated in Resolution 55/2010/QH12, dated November 24, 2011 which was amended and supplemented in Resolution 28/2016/QH14 by late December 31, 2025. The resolution shall come into effect from January 1, 2021.
The extension targets to remove agricultural land use taxes in keeping with the orientations of the Party and State on agriculture and rural development and support farmers to surmount the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change./.
